Brighter Tails focuses on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and data-driven strategy to reduce outdoor cat populations humanely. Your donation directly funds spay/neuter, food, and medical care for community cats right in Unicoi County, TN.

A new colony near Rock Creek Rd & Main Ave, forming from a single mom and kitten. Early intervention will prevent rapid growth and stabilize the situation.

New kittens show up almost every month, and the colony has spread across garages, vehicles, and nearby buildings. It’s grown beyond count and without intervention, it will only continue to expand.

Includes a friendly adult male and two social kittens, along with several more cats that remain scared. One cat has a visible leg deformity. The population continues to grow in the area, with a caregiver doing their best to keep up.
